Delane Reviewer for Coffee Time Romance

Ms. Stewart has created a wonderful story that I found very imaginative. The author has a truly original view of vampire lore. Once I started reading I could not bring myself to put the story down until the very end. The characters are well developed; which encourages the reader to cheer or boo for them whether good or evil. Although it can be read as a stand alone it will leave the reader wanting to pick up the next book to see what happens to Jacobs Cove and the cast and characters who fight for it.

Ms. Stewart delivers a story that allowed the reader to share in their emotions. The rage, fear and even misery, shine through with the characters. Her style of writing is so electric it just leaps off the pages. I am looking forward to the second book in the series.

Welcome to my website and welcome to the Jacobs Cove. If you're looking for a quiet place to live, where crime is low, you won't find it here. In Jacobs Cove, vampires run rampant and humans are fair game.  A spell has been cast to surround the city in Darkness and The King is set to rise.  Trinity Ford and Basil Hawthorn plan to stop him.

Its not going to be easy for them. Chaos, the leader of the rebel vampires is doing everything in his power to build his army and raise the king. They know they won't be able to bring him down alone, which means they will need some help.

Are you brave enough to enter the darkness. I hope so.

Once upon a time, Jonah Moore had it all. Then his wife and unborn child were taken from him, leaving his life darker than when Chaos end his evil vampires stole the sun. Now, Jonah has lost his will to face another day, which could be a problem considering he's just been turned into a vampire and is now destined to live an eternity.

As a nurse, Raven Moony is used to tending to the needs of others. Until an accident changed everything. When she is abducted and forced to tend to Chaos' needs, she is more than ready to give in and willingly accepts her role as slave.

When Jonah enters the picture, she finds herself fighting for his safety and freedom as well as her own. Can she convince Jonah to go on despite her own doubts? And can they open their hears to love and learn there is indeed life after death?

There was blood all around him, pools of it, teasing him, calling to him, and all he wanted was to drink it. Yet the closer he got to it the further it was away. The scent of it, like strong copper, filled his nostrils and tantalized his taste buds.

He wanted it more than life itself.

Bolting awake, Jonah stared wide eyed into the room. Every part of him hurt.

"Jonah? Are you okay?"

He could smell her as if she were beside him. Her scent, her blood, called to him. "Stay away from me!" He felt his teeth ache and the urge to take grew tenfold.

"What's the matter? Do you have another cramp?"

"No! Please, just stay away from me." Then she stepped up beside him and all he could think was , take. He could hear her blood rushing through her veins, her heart as it pounded in her chest. With each whoosh his body responded.

"Please, just stay away from me."

She clicked the light on over her bed and it was all he could do not to lunge at her and bite that supple vein at the side of her neck. "For God sake, Raven. Get lost!"

She stopped, tilted her head, then laid her hand on his head. "You need to feed."

"Just leave me alone. Please. I beg of you." If he could run away from her now, he would.

"This won't get any better unless you give your body what it wants. Here, drink." She thrust her wrist out to him.

"He slapped it away. "No!"

"What you feeling right now will only become more intense the longer you wait. Just take my nein and drink. I've done this before."

He pushed her aside, then rolled himself off the bed. He fell with a thud onto the cold tiled floor, but the pain was nothing compared to what he felt inside. It was more intense than anything he'd ever felt before. It felt like fire ants were clawing through his veins, his mouth was so dry his lips struck to his teeth and his head...all he heard ws the whoosing of her blood pumping through her veins.

It was going to drive him insane.

"Take it, Jonah," she demanded, falling down beside him on the floor.

"I won't drink from you." He'd rather die.

"If you don't now, Jonah, you'll go insane and I refuse to let that happen." She jumped up onto the bed and when she came back down, she had a knife in her hands.

"Now drink." She slid it across her arm by her elbow, then thrust it out at him.

"Stop it!" What have you done?" But the blood, so red, so thick, so...juicy, called to him.

"I can stitch myself up after. Just drink."

"Please don't make me do this," he pleaded.

"I have to." She grabbed his head and thrust her arm at his mouth.

The instant the blood touched his lips he was compelled to take it. He couldn't help himself. She was so delicious, so smooth, so gloriously sweet he wanted to drink her up. And as he sucked on he arm, drawing her blood, the ache subsided.

"Good, that's it, drink from me."

Her voice was so soft and soothing, so similar to her blood. She was nectar and he was parched. Then he felt her go limp and when he looked up, he saw her beginning to sway. Jonah pulled his mouth from her arm and captured her before she fell backwards onto the floor. "Damn it! What did I do?" Laying her on the floor, the first thing he did was check her pulse. "Oh thank God! Raven, Raven, talk to me. Say something."

Siren's Song

This book really took me by surprise. It was a story of demons, and its a side of demons we usually don't get to hear about. Usually we read about the nasty side of them, killing everything in their path, turning others into demons or eating them for their raw fleshy meat and blood. This is a unique story of a demon who just wants to be loved. This book I could not put down once I started and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did.

Stupid Shiny Volvo Driver
4 stars
Having read the first book ibn the series, Awaken the Demon, It was nice to see so much of Draco and Missy in their daughter Aurora's life, even though Draco is bossy, strict and overbearing. A normal Demon father. So much of their love for Aurora comes through loud and clear.

The Naughty Angel is a sinful sexy book. The need of an angel becomes the undoing of a demon. The story is steamy and dangerous. I enjoyed the playful and spunky attitude of Ariel and sinful and repentant personality of Edison. Ariel has her first taste of the sinful demon she isn't going to let go. I like how these two characters are are to risk everything for the sake of pleasure. Totally hot!!

Judy and Marianne
Long and Short Reviews.

The author does a wonderful job giving you a sense that there's something different about Cade. It's a story full of sexual tension because although there is some interaction between Penny and Cade before they his the town, the fact that it was pages before the had sex keep me on the edge of my seat wondering would they, or wouldn't they or was Cade just there for company?
The pacing is fast, dialogue natural sounding, and the story is filled with enjoyable characters. If you're looking for a quick, sexy book, this is a good one to pick.
